Tuition Payment Options

General Information
Cathedral High School offers two options for paying tuition: full payment and monthly payments. These options give families great flexibility in meeting their financial obligation to the school. Families must select a payment option on the Cathedral High School Enrollment Agreement at the time of registration. In addition to these options, Cathedral has partnered with a tuition loan program that enables families to reduce the amount of their monthly payments.

Full Payment Option
The full payment option requires payment in full of the net tuition to Cathedral High School by the June 30th prior to the ensuing school year. Net tuition is defined as the annual tuition charge less any financial aid credits and/or applicable discounts. This option entitles the payer to a 3% discount. Statements are mailed to payers by June 1st.

Monthly Payment Option
The monthly payment option allows families to budget their tuition payments over a 10-month period. This option requires participation in FACTS Management Company’s automatic withdrawal program. FACTS is the country’s premier tuition management program. Cathedral has been utilizing the FACTS service since 1998.

Initially, participants must complete an Automatic Tuition Payment Agreement. Participants may establish an agreement on-line by going to the FACTS e-cashier system ( Institution ID: 98524 PIN: 01118). The agreement authorizes FACTS to make electronic withdrawals from a checking or savings account on either the 5th or the 20th of each month. FACTS charges an annual enrollment fee of $41 that is collected via electronic withdrawal. For families’ convenience, prior to any withdrawals FACTS sends a confirmation letter to each participant. The letter advises participants of withdrawal dates and amounts. Withdrawals commence in June and must be completed by the following March. Families who wish to lower the amount of their monthly withdrawals may do so by making an advance payment directly to Cathedral.

For subsequent school years FACTS re-enrolls families electronically, thereby reducing the need to complete additional paperwork. FACTS also features the ability for families to review their account on a secure Web site at any time.

Please note that payment options may be changed annually at the end of every school year. Changes to payment options during the school year are subject to an option change fee of $20.

Tuition Loan Program
Families interested in financing all or a portion of their tuition over an extended period of time may apply for a tuition loan from Your Tuition Solution (YTS). YTS, a service of Springstone Financial LLC, offers tuition loans for terms from 18-60 months for amounts up to the annual tuition fee less any credits awarded by Cathedral.

An extended payment plan thru YTS provides families with lower payments that can help make the monthly expense of private education more affordable.

In addition to lowering the required monthly payments, YTS loans can be used in conjunction with Cathedral’s full payment option to qualify families for the early payment discount.

For more information about the tuition loan program go to www.yourtuitionsolution.com or call 800-920-9777.
