With the exception of Computer Concepts and Applications, which is a required course for graduation, all other courses in the department are electives mainly concentrated in the Junior or Senior year. Some courses such as Computer Science and Spreadsheets are designed to develop logical thinking. Other courses are used as a basis for either further study, such as Accounting and Legal & Social Issues, or merely to “gain” a working knowledge to be used in everyday life situations.
