Cathedral is a Catholic, college preparatory school committed to educating and developing future leaders in an environment of academic, spiritual, and personalized excellence. Cathedral provides a sanctuary in which students can learn and grow. To assure personalized attention in the learning process, Cathedral has an average class size of 15. Cathedral students come from 22 communities in Western MA, and four countries around the world. They follow a 6 period-a-day schedule in a 7-day rotation.
100% of the class of 2014 graduated from Cathedral, 100% of whom went on and matriculate at the college/university level.
37% of the class of 2016 and 30% of the class of 2015 are members of the National Honor Society, which requires a 3.6 cumulative GPA. In addition to excellent grades, students must meet “character” standards to become members of the NHS. Cathedral High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The current accreditation runs through 2023.
